QuadExpress (a wholly owned subsidiary of Quad) is seeking a Brokerage Customer Account Manager for the Naperville, IL location. Account Manager maintains and grows relationships with customers, key in process reviews and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration, identifies issues & implements solutions, thinks critically to determine the best course of action, provides spot quotes and market pricing, while leading team of Account Coordinators (2-4).
- Daily contact with customers, sales representatives and Carrier Sales team to aid in negotiating transportation rates and mode
- Provide consistent and exceptional service levels to both internal and external customers
- Understand the technology platform and drive automation
- Study and understand market trends and seasonality
- Utilize carrier analytics and other internal resources to make informed rating decisions
- Lead a team of 2-4 Account Coordinators
- Truckload Brokerage experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to lead a team, while also delivering independent results
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Commitment to executional excellence and outstanding customer service
- Account Manager experience preferred
- Lean and Six Sigma training preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
