Quad is seeking Finishing Technicians for the Greenville, MI location.
Primary job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Feeding / Loading printed copies into offline finishing equipment, including but not limited to: Offline Folder, Offline mailer, stitcher and inserter
- Understand standard operating procedures of the finishing department and follow them consistently
- Report any job issues or quality concerns back to the shift lead or department manager
- Remove product from the end of the finishing machine
- Jog and neatly skid pack finished product
Qualifications
- Factory, Manufacturing or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary is preferred, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, warehouse, etc.
- Printing, Finishing (Bindery) or Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to write and read measurements.
- Ability to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- The ability to use a computer
- The ability to use repetitive hand/wrist movement
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize job need.
- Ability to be a team player in a fast paced, detail orientated production environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
