Quad is seeking an aspiring, creative Commercial Still Photographer to support our on-site studio dedicated to our client Academy Sports + Outdoors in Katy, TX. The Commercial Photographer is responsible for capturing imagery that reflects the Academy brand and ensures a high level of creativity, efficiency and productivity while responding to changing client needs and ensuring the highest quality of service. You will be expected to collaborate and execute projects under the direction of Academy's Art Directors.
Our ideal candidate will have some experience in commercial lifestyle and still product photography and eager to grow in their role. They should be adaptable to the situation and be comfortable working equally well with a team or solo. Critical thinking, problem solving and being detail oriented are all qualities that we’re looking for. Retail experience is also a plus.

Maintain a consistent high level of quality within their creative content.
Be detail oriented in the execution of assignments while multitasking.
- Assist in managing production timelines.
- Work with the client to conceptualize creative strategy.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
Have a solid understanding of DSLR photography equipment, workflows and software on a Mac platform.
- Maintain metadata standards used within the organization.
- Assist with maintaining all studio equipment.
Experience with MAC based systems: Capture One Pro, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
1 years of professional photography experience in a commercial photography studio or equivalent is preferred.
4-year college education or equivalent experience in photography.
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language.
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Travel as required
