Quad is seeking a full-time Photo Assistant for our photo studio working exclusively for Colony Brands in Monroe, WI. This role works closely with photo crew in a high-volume production environment to maintain equipment, deliver sets and props, organize shooting bays, and shoot some photography. This is a freelance (independent contractor) role with periods of full-time activity and periods of part-time/intermittent activity.
Reports to Studio Manager
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Working cooperatively with Photographers, Stylists and Merchandise Coordinator to meet deadlines.
  • Assist Photographers to set lights, retrieve and place lighting gear and other equipment
  • Assemble sets following provided direction.
  • Basic set maintenance including patching holes, repainting
  • Assist Digital Tech to maintain photography equipment and studio environment
  • Assist Stylists with fetching/returning props
  • Deliver set materials to the studio bays, strike sets
  • Maintain client satisfaction and confidence
  • Shoot internet photography
  • Provide input to Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work in tightly-integrated team environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
