Quad is seeking a dynamic Sr. Producer to join our client onsite team in Monroe, WI. The Sr. Producer is responsible for initial and ongoing client engagement, management of photo group production: this includes scheduling, client relations, booking of crews, talent and locations and maintaining studio budget.
The Sr. Producer will be responsible for on-figure location photography as well as in studio photography for many product categories including fashion, food, housewares, clothing, jewelry, furniture, food, and electronics. Multiple brands and creative teams keep the projects fresh and challenging.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the onsite team of producer, photographers, stylists and assistants
- Recommending and providing resources for talent, stylists, set builders, and photo assistants to achieve desired results within established creative/marketing strategies
- Negotiating with agencies, managing talent resources and contracts for models and crew
- Coordinating studio and on location photo shoots in order to meet budgets
- Ensuring staff is aligned with the Client Services Pillars of Success
- Ensuring staff delivers high-quality, accurate and timely delivery of Client’s services and excellent customer service
- Keeping projects on schedule and communicating the status to other teams and client art directors
- Improving the production process for cost, logistical and creative efficiency
- Maintaining project budgets, quoting and estimating utilizing strong negotiation skills
- Maintaining the organization of incoming billing, receipts, vendor and independent contractor invoices
- Performing post-project client satisfaction reviews and reports
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Photography, Media, Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Business Management or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 year’s professional industry experience producing in a high-end, high-volume photography studio for retail advertising, catalog, or other commercial photography
- Ability to lead teams to deliver first class service to the Client
- Ability to achieve a spirit of teamwork and cooperation within the Client Service team and outside contractors
- Project Management experience is required
- Highly organized, detail oriented, great communication skills
- A working knowledge of photography workflows and scheduling, production budgets, estimating and financial reporting and product/merchandise management systems and data/records
- Ability to work as a team member in a creative group environment but is also self-motivated.
- Good verbal, written communications and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Apple/Macintosh OS and related software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software – specifically Outlook, Word, & Excel.
