Quad seeks WI based HP Indigo print press candidates or individuals with HP Indigo experience who are willing to relocate.
We seek qualified HP or Digital press operators for the Pewaukee, WI plant in a suburb of Milwaukee.
Paid relocation is offered to move to Pewaukee for qualified skilled print press operators.

Position Overview:
Quad is currently seeking a Digital/Laser Print Operator for the HP Indigo 10,000 and 12,000 platforms at the Pewaukee, WI plant.  We are also running several HP T410, 400, and 490s at those plants and are highly interested in people with experience on those presses as well. People with Cannon OCE, Kodak Nexpress, and similar digital presses are encouraged to apply.
We are willing to train the right candidate.
Any digital press experience is required, but we will train the selected candidate on the HP experience.
This position is responsible for monitoring and running an HP digital press. The selected individual will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  
This position is responsible for: 
  • Operating/troubleshooting and maintaining digital print devices and digital bindery equipment
  • Producing quality pages
  • Operating/troubleshooting and maintaining digital print devices and digital bindery equipment
  • Communicating with other employees for each job
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience running color digital printing equipment, with a preference for HP Indigo. Other digital press experience like OCE and Nexpress is encouraged to apply.
  • Must meet the physical requirements for the position which includes lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing, bending/stooping
  • Must be willing to work at either the Pewaukee, WI  plant.
  • Must be willing to work a 12 hour rotating 3/4 schedule that includes weekend shifts.  Employees work 36 hours (3 shifts) one week and 48 hours (4 shifts) the next week. This schedule includes a built in 8 hours of overtime pay every other week! Our shift schedule rotates from days to nights and front to back half of the week every 4 months, When you’re on night shift an additional 75 cent/hr shift differential. Schedules are done a year in advance and we group the shifts together to give employees the feeling of a workweek and weekend
  • Must be adaptable, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Print process experience and/or pre-press experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills are also required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others is required
  • Ability to pass a color test is required
Preferred Qualifications: HP Indigo experience or HP T400 series experience
