Job Description

Quad is seeking a 2nd Pressman to assist in all routine aspects of press operation. In this role, you will perform manual and machine operator tasks in the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the printing press. You must be able to install plates and blankets on press cylinders, adjust press machine parts, such as a feeder, delivery mechanisms, suction grippers, guides, feed wheels, jogging device, tapes and cams as directed by press operator. The position also requires the use of hand tools. In this role, you will set up, load and trouble shoot the press feeder operations. You will also stock consumable supplies for the press such as rags, solvents, blankets etc.

Qualifications
1 - 3 years as a feeder operator or 1 - 3 years as a second pressman.
The position also requires the ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects.
Ability to pass a Color Test is required.
The position also requires the ability to work overtime.
