Business Analyst - Product Specialist

Agile team member working alongside business stakeholders to improve their processes and systems.  Conducts research and analysis in order to design solutions that meet the needs of customers and end users.  Helps to ensure the quality and adoption of implemented solutions and the realization of business value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Self-directed team member, highly collaborative with team and some business partners
• Collaboration with team business partners
• Ability to influence others through effective change management
• Understanding business needs through lens of the customer/user
• Understanding of business needs and priorities
• In accordance to team and department standards, active in learning and utilizing industry best practices, leverages feedback from peers
• Able to apply knowledge and understanding of basic solutioning to assist team in planning and developing solutions 
• Actively engage in communities of practice
• Skilled at problem solving, critical thinking, data analysis/modeling, detailed requirement gathering and system configuration
• Focused on user needs assessment, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and current/future state representation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of I/T work is preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
