POSITION: Senior Data Scientist
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for descriptive, predictive, prescriptive and ensemble modeling, advanced statistical techniques, use of database tools and other approaches in quantitative analysis of complex business situations. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Develop advanced analytic solutions (Machine Learning, Neural Nets, Deep Learning, Cognitive computing). Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Partner with domain managers, agile enablement team, and key stakeholders to assess team capabilities and identify actionable items to improve performance. Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality. Requires advanced understanding of lean and agile principles. Collaborate with business owners to develop product vision and roadmap. Serve as technical leader in Data Science for Team and Department. Build rapport with business partners, product owners and subject matter experts, and provide professional, courteous, timely and dependable support to a 24/7 business. Define solutions based on industry best practices, client needs, domain knowledge, capabilities and vision across departments, product lines and customers. Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimizations and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies. Utilize data governance best practices to increase quality, security, and accessibility of data and information assets. Teleworking is acceptable within a reasonable distance of the Sussex, WI worksite.
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

REQUIREMENTS
Main Experience: At least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, or related degree with an analytical concentration and 6 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or closely related occupation.
Alt. Experience: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and 6 years stated experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree in stated fields and 4 year stated experience.
Special Skills: Also requires at least 1 year of experience in the following:
- Querying data for developing and validating models;
- Complex modeling and related functions and libraries;
- Relational databases, data warehouses, data manipulation and presentation;
- Developing test and control strategies;
- Data mining techniques and procedures;
- Programming in Python and C#; and
- Report building in tools (Hue, Tableau).
SALARY: $90,000 per year
