GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The QuadMed CFO is a business partner and reports to the President of Quad’s growing Medical division reporting to QuadMed’s President with an additional reporting relationship through Quad’s CFO with a focus on maintaining a strong financial control environment. As a business partner to the President of QuadMed, the QuadMed CFO will assist in strategic planning, identification and integration of strategic acquisitions/partnerships, reviewing annual business plans and periodic financial forecasts and directing resources to ensure that business leaders have accurate and timely information for impactful decision making. It is important that the QuadMed CFO operates with the highest level of integrity and trust and is committed to upholding the Quad Values.

Interpret industry and key financial trends, metrics and results to drive value by which all Quad’s operations long-term success is measured.
Drive the development and execution of QuadMed’s long-term financial strategic process to maximize profitable returns and long-term growth.
Partner with Quad Corporate shared services departments to identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs for the benefit of Quad and/or QuadMed.
Support portfolio review, including ROI analysis, product lifecycle management and balanced portfolio optimization to enhance profitability and ensure long-term growth.
- Develop and present business strategy proposals.
Review and validate annual business plans, periodic financial forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis (ex. - capital expenditure and client ROI) to ensure the business leaders understand the implications of the analysis to ensure timely, effective and well-informed decisions are made.
Partner with Operations and Business Development for acquisition/partnership activities, including target identification, due diligence, financial valuation, post-acquisition integration and execution of the plan.
Oversees the revenue and expenditure cycle operations, assuring that the organization’s policies and practices are in line with organizational priorities.
Engages with operational leaders to drive business results and achieve annual plans and other financial targets.
Responsible for the effective and efficient management of all client billing and revenue cycle activities.
Actively monitor developments and/or changes within government rules and regulations and reimbursement trends. Adequately plans for financial implications resulting from such changes.
Ensures return is maximized and risk is minimized when evaluating business opportunities, including capital investments and acquisition/partnership targets.
Maintains a strong financial control environment in compliance with SOX and SOC1 Type2 client billing standards.
Partners with Legal and Operations to ensure contract alignment and compliance.
Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting including all regulatory financial filing requirements.
Be a Business Partner to the President and senior leadership team of QuadMed.
Attract, develop, and retain outstanding financial management talent and facilitate cross functional teams.
Develop relationships with leaders throughout the QuadMed businesses and other Quad businesses.
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- MBA and CPA preferred
10+ years of experience in healthcare finance roles demonstrating progressive responsibility within a health care system or medical group practice.
