Reporting to the SVP, BBL, the Group Account Director is an impressive strategic thinker and storyteller with a selling mindset able to grow a client portfolio of enviable brands across an exciting range of categories. Our new group account director will demonstrate exceptional client management, business strategy expertise, strong team development, profitable agency growth and help Periscope shift into the national spotlight as an agency with a unique and enviable creative reputation.

*** This role can be fully remote, or hybrid based out of one of our locations in NYC, Chicago, or Minneapolis***

  • Drive business relationships forward and achieve increasingly challenging goals by contributing to client businesses positioning the agency as a valuable business partner.
  • Leverage relevant business performance metrics and data into every conversation ensuring our strategic, creative, and integrated experiences are meaningful,
  • memorable, and effective in achieving client and agency business goals.
  • Motivate agency teams and clients to see the possibility of generating valuable business upside through creativity, partnership and experiences that bring people together.
  • Create an environment and team dynamic where category knowledge, business strategy and brilliant idea platforms are pervasive, scalable, and profitable for the agency.
  • Demonstrate and inspire the art of critical thinking—the language of solution building. Combine this with the agility and anticipation that builds client trust.
  • Lead integrated teams through darkness inspiring them to find unexpected and better ways to achieve client business goals while delivering profitable growth and healthy contribution margins for the agency.
  • Uphold and deliver our agency’s core beliefs to strengthen our culture, product and attract people with different backgrounds and experiences to join our agency.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experienced in leading and maintaining a portfolio of accounts, and account teams, providing superior client management service while maximizing business
  • opportunities and outcomes.
  • Strong client management, negotiation, solutioning and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and motivate a team to do the best work of their lives.
  • Flexibility to work/communicate effectively with different types of people across agency disciplines, client business units, parent company, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations with effective results.
  • A persuasive storyteller with a passion for our business.
