About the Role
The Sales Operations Business Partner works in partnership with Senior Sales Leaders in charge of  supporting their objectives, business goals, and strategic direction of the sales team.


This individual will partner directly with the SVP of Business Development (SVP BD) as strategic support. They will support the team’s sales strategy with a focus on expanding integrated growth opportunities with new clients. This is a cross-functional role that will also work closely with the Business Development sales team, Sales Operations, and other Sales Leaders. 


Responsibilities

  • Support a variety of processes closely tied to Business Development, such as: lead management, events, marketing campaigns, and the RFP process.
  • Champion the unique support needs of the Business Development team and takes the lead in problem-solving operational friction points to make their jobs easier.
  • Project management of sales team initiatives, pipeline and revenue reporting, sales activity tracking, lead development, target list development, data and analytics, organizing and running meetings.  The role may also include training (technology or sales skills) and supporting RFP response development.
  • Lead and partner on special projects for areas in which the Business Development Team personally oversees 
  • Develops Board materials on behalf of the Business Development team, including the curation of client success stories  
  • Support planning, metrics, reporting, and decisions
  • Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of new client onboarding 
  • Transparently share vital information and learnings across teams
  • Drive cross-functional conversations around complex business issues 
  • Apply critical thinking and industry insight to help drive business transformation and create efficiencies that enable future growth
  • Determine go-to-market approaches and structures; creating playbooks including sales education strategy, GTM materials, processes and any necessary technology enhancements in collaboration with the rest of Sales Ops team.
  • Influence sales communication content & strategy 


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting VP-level leadership with a proven ability to build and manage relationships
  • Strong critical thinking and project management skills with experience owning complex projects from start to finish
  • Problem solver, analytical and organized thinker
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects
  • Proven success in navigating complex teams
  • Knowledge of sales process best practices
  • Ability to pivot and adapt quickly to shifting priorities  
  • Expertise in proactively identifying business needs and opportunities that add value
  • Ability to work with confidential information 
  • Experience with Salesforce is a bonus
