We are currently seeking an Accounting Intern primarily based out of our Woburn, MA plant. This is a very challenging and rewarding internship that offers practical experience learning financial reporting and print operations in the short-term and outstanding long-term career opportunities.
Responsibilities vary and can include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Assisting with inventory control and reporting process improvements to ensure adherence to internal and external audit controls.
• Assisting with the transition of inventory control from Marcum into a new system (PrintStream)
• Assisting with inventory process improvements to ensure accurate financial and operational statements
• Assisting with Accounting Continuous Improvement Projects
• Assisting with various other accounting projects
Qualified candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting. An Accounting specific GPA of 3.0 or greater is highly preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access strongly preferred.
Interns will work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer. Due to training involved and contribution as a value added team member, commitment is strongly preferred. Additionally, travel may be required within the WI plant network and therefore candidates must have reliable transportation.
