Associate, Investment, Print
ApplyThe primary role of the Associate, Investment Print is to support and assist the Print Investment team throughout the media process, including campaign planning and order management, on behalf of our client roster. The Associate attends to all administrative functions and documentation required to carry out assigned media functions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support the Print Investment team to ensure flawless execution of media campaigns
● Work alongside manager to evaluate media opportunities and prepare recommendations accordingly (to include tactical plan,
implementation and analytical insights)
● Follow through on all key deadlines for plan delivery to internal, client and vendor audiences
● Communicate with publishers (i.e., newspapers, magazines) to ensure order / circulation accuracy and timely approvals;
troubleshoot issues and bring forth timely solutions
● Attend campaign kick-off and other team meetings; work with the team to establish workflow processes and manage projects
and documentation to completion
● Coordinate rate, spend, and plan history and all additional relevant client data (may include customer store, sales and
newspaper specific data) and organize / format / prep same for hand-off to the team for use in negotiations
● Coordinate the development of and proof distribution run lists prior to release to printers
● Aid in the administration of rate hold letters and other communication to publishers, as necessary
● Ensure flawless execution of assigned media buys by deploying best practices and quality assurance for all event launches /
modifications
● Utilize time management skills to prioritize workflow without sacrificing quality of work
● Develop positive relationships with publishers, internal team members and client contacts
● Communicate with manager regarding workflow, priorities, challenges, successes or any other information necessary to ensure
best practices are followed
● Complete special projects or tasks as assigned
● Timely response to client requests and inquiries
Education: Bachelor’s degree (communications, marketing, advertising, or business) or a combination of an Associate’s degree
and related work experience
Experience:
● 1-year related work experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
● Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
● Proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous short- and long-term projects
● Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills; advanced Excel strongly preferred
● Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors and all levels of the internal
organization
● High comfort level participating in brainstorms and ideation sessions
● Ability to work with a team to think tactically and execute accurately in order to align media execution with client needs
● Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while being responsive to changing priorities
