Instructional Designer & Facilitator
Apply
We’re looking for an Instructional Designer & Facilitator who thinks like a teacher, builds like a designer, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You’ll help shape how people learn and grow at Quad, crafting content that drives performance and building programs that support onboarding, leadership, and functional skill development across our enterprise and agency network. If you love connecting the dots between learner needs and business goals, you’ll feel right at home here.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn learning needs into powerful content: Collaborate with subject matter experts and support the L&D manager to shape outlines, scripts, and instructional plans.
- Design for real impact: Create content across formats (eLearning, ILT/VILT, toolkits, job aids) using models like ADDIE or SAM.
- Facilitate live learning experiences: Lead engaging virtual and in-person sessions that spark insight and build skill.
- Use data and personas to guide design: Apply learner journey maps and audience insights to shape delivery, tone, and structure.
- Bring content to life: Build SCORM-ready modules in Rise and Storyline, and ensure quality, accessibility, and brand alignment.
- Keep our learning ecosystem humming: Tag, upload, and test content in our LMS (Oracle experience a plus) and contribute to content governance.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design and facilitation—ideally in a corporate, agency, or creative environment.
- Proficiency with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, Camtasia, PowerPoint, and other design tools.
- A strong grasp of adult learning theory, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and learner-centered design.
- Excellent communication skills—you write clearly, teach thoughtfully, and collaborate with ease.
- Curiosity, organization, and the ability to own projects with guidance—not just follow templates.
- Bonus points if you’re energized by connecting learning to culture, career growth, or change enablement.
Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $68,500-$80,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
