At Rise, growth is a team effort, and this role is central to making that effort work. As Manager, New Business, you’ll be a key partner in helping us show up with clarity, creativity, and confidence in every pitch and pursuit. You’ll work closely with the Head of Growth, Sales Leads, discipline leads, and cross-functional teams to support the full range of new business activity, from RFIs and RFPs to sales materials, research, and proposal development.
You’ll bring both structure and storytelling to the table. You know how to run a process, but you also understand how to make work feel fresh and ideas feel sharp. You’re someone who can juggle multiple workstreams, keep teams aligned, and make sure our responses reflect both who we are and what our clients need.
This role is a great fit for someone who’s organized, curious, proactive, and genuinely excited by the energy of a pitch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of proposals, RFIs, and RFPs, working in close partnership with discipline leads, finance, and Quad collaborators.
- Manage timelines, inputs, and stakeholder coordination to keep new business efforts running smoothly and on schedule.
- Help develop clear, customized presentations and proposals that reflect Rise’s capabilities and approach.
- Conduct client and market research to help shape pitch strategies, competitive positioning, and category insight.
- Work within Salesforce and related tools to track pipeline activity, maintain records, and support reporting.
- Collaborate with strategy, media, creative, and analytics teams to gather inputs and integrate them into proposal responses.
- Assist in reviewing scope of work (SOWs), pricing structures, and contract inputs as part of final submission packages.
- Bring a lens of continuous improvement to everything – from pitch materials to internal processes – and recommend ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
- Assist in writing proposals and responses to requests for proposals from prospective clients
- Develop customized solutions and proposals for clients
- Qualify, Project Manage and Respond to RFPs with the support of the DS and Channel Teams
- Work within the Salesforce platform to monitor/report on key metrics
- Evaluate and propose process improvements relating to Proposals, RFPs, Contracts and more
- Support New Business team across understanding client’s goals to aid in determination of pitch strategy and response
- Liaise with internal Rise and Quad teams in proposal development to pull together relevant and requested information

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience:
3+ years of business experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional writing abilities and superb attention to detail
- The ability to articulately present internally and externally
- Strong capabilities within Word, PowerPoint, Excel and corresponding Google apps
- Depth of knowledge relating to Rise’s Service & Technology Offering
- Exceptional problem-resolution, including the ability to think creatively in the development of ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic, client-centered environment
- Strategic and creative thinking – always focusing on innovative, but measurable client solutions
- Extremely ambitious and hardworking and self-motivated
- Deeply familiar and passionate about marketing and business trends
- Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
- Ability for flexible work hours during new business pitches
Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $80,000 -$100,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.
