Pay:$18.00–$20.00 / hour, based on relevant experience, skills, and work history
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Experience Preferred: Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates with forklift experience, inventory control, and shipping documentation experience are encouraged to apply.

Position Summary
Quad is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our Spartanburg manufacturing team.
In this role, you'll coordinate the receipt, inventory, packaging, documentation, and shipment of raw materials and finished products. Working closely with production, logistics, customer service, suppliers, and transportation partners, you'll help ensure materials move efficiently throughout the manufacturing process while supporting safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Receive incoming raw materials and finished goods while verifying quantities, specifications, and shipment accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, mills, freight carriers, and transportation providers.
- Package, label, palletize, crate, and prepare domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, manifests, and other import/export documentation.
- Process shipments using shipping software and freight carrier systems.
- Receive and inspect customer returns and outsourced materials.
- Enter inventory transactions, create inventory labels, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with inventory adjustments, quarantined materials, and product disposition.
- Coordinate with Customer Account Managers (CAM), Logistics, Production, and Accounting to resolve shipping and inventory issues.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment.
- Build shipping skids and crates using hand and power tools.
- Obtain freight quotes, order shipping supplies, and support shipping cost tracking.
- Resolve shipment issues, including transportation and customs-related discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Cross-train with team members, mentor new employees, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in weekend emergency shipping coverage as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience with domestic and international shipping documentation is a plus.
- Forklift experience or the ability to become certified.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse, inventory, and shipping systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good math and communication skills.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools to assemble shipping skids and crates.
- Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and safely perform warehouse duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
