Account Manager, Branded Solutions

General Purpose of Job

The Account Manager, Branded Solutions will be responsible for helping to grow Quad’s newly established Branded Solutions/Promotional Products business. This role involves working closely with new and existing clients, ideating on promotional products and services, supporting business pitches, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring seamless sourcing and order execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and the Branded Solutions team to launch and expand Quad’s Branded Goods business.
  • Taking client briefs and proactively suggesting alternative and innovative solutions upselling and cross selling where possible. 
  • Support new business pitches by creating compelling sales presentations and building accurate product quotes.
  • Engage with new suppliers to understand their capabilities and onboard them into the Quad supplier base.
  • Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain close communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on quotes.
  • Manage approved quotes through the order and delivery phases, overseeing suppliers, distribution, and client satisfaction.
  • Work with team members to curate and build branded solutions product collections for new clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with Branded team and Technology leaders to improve systems and processes.
  • Support the oversight and management of inventoried items for Quad Branded Solutions clients.
  • Participate in client engagements to identify and solve transactional order issues, including involvement in the Quad Client Diagnostic / Blueprint process.
  • Partner with Quad business leaders to expand existing client accounts into the Branded Solutions/Promotional Product business.
  • Identify and implement strategic solutions
  • Execute production efficiently in accordance with Quad processes and procedures 
  • Execute projects within timelines, budget requirements and quality standards.
  • Take responsibility for the overall success of assigned accounts and projects 

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience: 

5+ years of experience and a proven track record of working with suppliers and clients within the Promotional Products Industry (ASI/PPAI). Knowledge within all product categories (wearables, hard goods, gifting, etc)

3+ years of experience working in the branded goods or promotional goods industry either as a supplier, distributor or client buyer. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Passionate about offering creative products, decorating methods and solutions to clients. 
  • Proactive mindset and keeps up with industry and consumer trends to deliver on-point offerings. 
  • Confident and adept at meeting with suppliers and clients with the ability to solve client issues effectively. 
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively. 
  • Meticulous in providing accurate specifications, pricing, and order quantities. 
  • Proficiency in using technology to streamline processes.
  • Experience building out client webstores and programs a plus.
  • Works well with the team and willing to jump in and help deliver for clients.
  • Understands the dynamics of being part of a large organization while contributing to a new startup group.
  • Works at a fast-pace with a sense of urgency to meet the demands of our clients and internal partners.
