Client Strategy Analyst
ApplyThe Client Strategy Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, performance metrics, and internal Quad consumer data to support and develop specific CRM approaches, test plans, and business roadmaps for client strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with various departments to develop, refine, and implement actionable business strategies, synthesizing business intelligence, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding Quad data stack and historical program performance.
Location: US Remote or 4 days in office if near to office locations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SCOPE
Overall Mission: Strategically align consumer-centric approaches across Quad, Rise, and Betty that benefit and fulfill our clients’ goals, while leveraging Quad’s unique data, services, and people where appropriate.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, performance metrics, and internal Quad data to support and develop specific approaches, test plans, and business roadmaps for client strategic goals
Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments (specifically Data/Analytics, Integrated Account Management, Production, Media, and Planning) to develop, refine, and implement actionable business strategies
Business Intelligence: Synthesize business intelligence, performance metrics, and trend data to support recommendations for strategic initiatives and decision-making
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an SME regarding the Quad data stack and historical program performance to apply those learnings to strategic development
Thought Leadership: Prepare, in partnership with the VP Client Strategy, points-of-view and thought leadership regarding how to support a client’s KPI and/or helping a client establish their KPIs
Forecasting and Risk Assessment: Support the client strategy team by forecasting trends, assessing risks, and ensuring the timely flow of relevant business intelligence across the group.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in market analysis, strategic development, or a related role 1.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, proficiency in data analysis tools and software, and a deep understanding of business intelligence and performance metrics.
- Skilled at writing and socializing product-level documents: marketing plan, sales enablement plan, launch plan, solution handbook
- Successful track-record of cross-functional collaboration with teams, contributors, and stakeholders across multiple seniority levels
- Data-driven and results-oriented, with a perspective on how to measure and evaluate metrics for pre and post campaign launch, and define and measure metrics to measure the impact of marketing efforts
- Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing business needs and external market dynamic
- Hands-on experience with platform delivery, data strategy, campaign planning and data activation
- Ability to translate complex topics into easily understandable verbal and written communications, including translating business objectives and opportunity identification
- A unique blend of business and technical savvy with an ability to effectively influence a desired outcome, and the wherewithal to make that vision a reality
- Ability to handle multiple prospects/clients/opportunities simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish trust and build relationships with internal and external clients and partners, at various seniority levels
- Self-motivated, determined, and adaptable, with a sense of ownership to resolve challenges that arise
- A successful track record of selling enterprise solutions to executive stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to travel (once it is safe to resume) up to 50% domestically or internationally, only as needed
- Strategic thinker with proven consulting skills with a strong eye for detail
- Self-motivated and results-driven team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and remain flexible
- Support sales training and industry events.
