General Laborer Part-Time 8 Hour Shifts

Entry level starting wage - $16.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience plus a shift differential offered for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.
We are currently seeking Part-Time General Manufacturing Employees to grow with us! A general manufacturing position includes the opportunity to learn the commingling process from the ground up and advance in a progressive environment. In this position, you will assist in the commingling of various well-known magazines/catalogs/newspaper inserts and other related products in our Commingling department.
These positions may also include:
- Being involved in training and leading other crew members
- Continuous clean-up and housekeeping of the production area
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and work rules
- Some positions may also include the operation of a fork truck
Required Qualifications:
- Successful candidates must be able to do the following (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Work 8-hour shifts (1st Shift: 8 am-4:00 pm, 2nd Shift: 4 pm-Midnight or 3rd shift: Midnight-8 am)
- Lift 10-30 pounds continuously, lift to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, and use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movement
- Receive and follow instructions
- Use vision to identify defects in the product
- Good verbal and written comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and working independently with minimal supervision are required.
- You will also receive a shift differential paid for either the 2nd or 3rd shift worked. 2nd shift is a $0.30 shift differential and 3rd shift is $0.75.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience (such as laborer, machinist, assembly, down piling, or bindery)
- The ability to perform basic math calculations
