Quad is seeking an Ink Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic for our Hartford, WI CR/T (Chemical Research and Technology) location  (Please note this is NOT the Print Plant off of Hwy. 60).Competitive Pay from $28.00 - $32.00 / hour depending on experience.

Position Overview:

• Responsible for maintenance of existing equipment and installation of new equipment as it relates to CR/T's Ink Manufacturing facility and processes.
• Machine repair on Rotary Vane Pumps, Pneumatic Pumps, Electric Motors, Belt Drives, Augers, Mechanical Couplings, Gear Boxes, and Vacuum Pumps.
• Follow and develop SOPs and Written Procedures to perform Proactive preventive maintenance tasks.
• Utilize Equipment Maintenance and Component Documentation to determine proper Tensions, Speeds, Alignment Tolerances, Pressures, and Flows.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years of Mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of machine installation and operation, mechanical maintenance, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Rotary vane pump rebuild and repair experience.
• Strong background in pipe fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and blueprint reading.
• Must be able to understand tolerances and measurements according to the Standard Metric System. 
• Basic knowledge of Electrical Theory and performing Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
• Must have own set of basic hand tools or be willing to purchase them.
• High-Lift Experience - Cannot be afraid of heights.
• Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (8-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects.
• Ability to work 5 - 8-hour days, Monday-Friday.   Over time, when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.
