Operator in Training – Printing Press

Location: Quad – Burlington, WI
Pay: $17.50–$19.50/hr or more to start, based on experience and previous work history. 
Schedule: 12-hour 2-2-3 compressed workweek (full-time status with 182 working days/year).
Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000 for candidates with prior print experience.

About Our Burlington Facility

Our Burlington plant handles custom and specialty print projects—from books and brochures to calendars and direct mail. With 10-color sheetfed capabilities, UV inks, and in-house finishing (die cutting, embossing, folding, gluing), we deliver premium print solutions with precision and pride.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate offset press equipment based on job specs.
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments to maintain standards.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and lubrication.
• Coordinate with crew members and support smooth production flow
• Complete required documentation (electronic and paper).
• Cross-train in other print service roles as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and perform repetitive hand/wrist movements.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions.
• Willingness to learn and grow—no prior press experience required.
• Must pass a color test.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

• Heidelberg 640, 1040, 1240

The actual rate of pay offered will vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime and shift differentials.
