SUMMARY:    Ensures standards for safety, quality, production, and training are met.  Utilizes all ISO procedures, and maintains required departmental paperwork.  This position directly helps Quad drive profitability by reducing the cost of errors through consistent work quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reads and understands Press Instruction Sheet, Palleting Instruction, and Carton Packing Sheet.
  • Communicate with the Department Shift Supervisor about any issues affecting the department or production.
  • Ensures mail is processed according to USPS regulations.
  • Performs downtime tasks as assigned.
  • Provide training to newly hired personnel.
  • Actively participates in safety programs, follows safety policies and procedures, and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Manages self-development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (Specific knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
