Project Manager

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Mexico City project management hub, to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage packaging-focused creative work from concept through production, managing timelines, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration as well as potential vendor management. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring seamless coordination across borders and strict alignment with US brand standards. This is an opportunity to strengthen our packaging capabilities in Mexico, drive operational excellence, and deliver high-impact work.

- You are able to organize a high volume of projects, and pivot between priorities at a moments notice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as liaison between internal teams and external production partners, including printers and packaging vendors, ensuring seamless execution from design through final printer-ready mechanical files.
- Oversee packaging mechanical development, artwork routing, prepress reviews and release of final printer-ready files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with brand and production standards.
- Manage packaging-specific complexities including versioning, regulatory copy updates, brand standards, retailer variations and line extensions.
- Manage scope, timelines and budgets to ensure they’re delivered on time and executed flawlessly.
- Schedule and attend all internal meetings: kick-off, client status, internal creative reviews and pre-production.
- Act as a true partner to creative and account teams to ensure alignment across strategy, design and production execution.
- Ability to manage a high volume of packaging SKUs and line extensions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while adapting to evolving production timelines.
- Enforce deadlines with an overall strong sense of urgency, humor and empathy.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other disciplines across all capabilities of Betty’sfully integrated offering.
- Perform other duties from time to time to meet the changing needs of the agency.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have been working in a professional capacity for four to seven years.
- You’re fast. You’re organized. You’re cool under pressure. Your attention to detail is spot-on.
- You’re naturally collaborative and supportive.
- Your negotiating, creative problem-solving, relationship-building and strategic-thinking skills are stellar.
- You maintain a sense of humor even when the project goes awry.
- You’re constantly thinking of “what if?” scenarios and providing top-notch solutions.
- You embrace a well-oiled process, but know creative solutions require flexibility.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 4–7 years of creative project management experience in an agency setting, with packaging and/or CPG experience strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and project management methodologies. Workfront experience a definite plus.
- You are fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
