The primary role of the Designer is to plan, direct and deliver photography assets for a weekly retail program. Must be creative and have the ability to multitask on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and propose creative elements for weekly photo shoots for specific shots to use in client media collateral
- Create photography instructions to include shop list and props
- Prepare weekly instructions and proofs for approval by client
- Expected to strategize, design, and produce high-end results
- Be aware of Graphic & Advertising Trends as they relate to publication design
- Assist in management and maintenance of individual product image photo assets in DAM
- Traffic and manage postproduction photo editing process
- Provide additional creative client support on special projects as needed.
- Provide support as needed for auxiliary ad functions as needed, including obtaining approvals and follow through on deliverables.
- Be directed to deliver creative elements based on specific direction by the team’s leadership or Project Coordinators
- Attend project meetings, will ideate with the team and will provide creative materials and ideas
- Electronically build, create and assemble various print projects in accordance with agency and client specifications. This includes, but not limited to data entry and type setting, image manipulation, art creation or modification. This includes sketching and illustration
- Propose creative concept elements for potential and new projects
- Learn and integrate client brand standards into planning of weekly photo shoots
- Assist in project and/or client customer service needs in conjunction with Client Account Manager
- Under the direction of Client Manager and/or Sr. Designers strategize for weekly photo shoot concepts
Collaborate with Client Account Manager, Project Coordinator and Designers to ensure a complete understanding of the client needs - Work efficiently & accurately through high volumes of work, meeting deadlines in a very time-sensitive environment
- Review all job instructions, both written and verbal, & ask any questions necessary to successfully complete the project
- Utilize resources to problem solve challenges on project
- Perform other responsibilities, as they are developed/defined
Education: Bachelor’s in graphic design or equivalent
Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Mac Operator and Graphic Artist along with relevant studio photography experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- MAC Based hardware/software systems Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
- Graphic Design Software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Suitcase, Stuffit and Microsoft Office, Archiving and Backup Procedures Ability to learn proprietary software
- General advertising, marketing, media, TV and radio terminology and processes
- Knowledge of the web, internet, and ftp technology
- Have excellent graphic design skill, superlative production design skills with a great attention to detail
- Must have strong project management skills, ability to think strategically, focus on fine details and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines and properly estimate time for work
- A strong eye for design and page composition and layout

Hybrid Work Environment: This position follows a hybrid work model. Required in-office days will be based out of our Mooresville, NC studio.
