Quad is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Chemical Research and Technology facility in Valdosta, GA. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement across all maintenance functions.

Acquired from Arizona Chemical in 2013, CR/T has built a reputation for enhancing product quality, consistency, and cost efficiency. Through innovative resin technologies, the company continues to support environmentally conscious manufacturing while meeting the evolving demands of the ink and coatings industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and identify data-driven opportunities for process improvement. - Facility & Utility Management
Oversee the upkeep of plant buildings and core systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, chillers, and cooling towers. - Preventive Maintenance Execution
Establish and manage schedules for routine inspections and servicing of critical utilities and equipment to ensure operational continuity. - Work Order & Inventory Management
Administer the work order system to track maintenance tasks, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure timely resolution of service requests. - Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of maintenance technicians and supervisors. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning. - Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
Address equipment failures with a focus on identifying and resolving root causes to prevent recurrence. Promote innovative and sustainable solutions. - Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Champion a safe working environment for all team members. - Budget Oversight & Cost Efficiency
Manage maintenance budgets and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in industrial or chemical plant environments preferred.
- Familiarity with boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and cooling towers.
- Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS).
- Strong computer and programming skills are a plus.
