Quad Is currently seeking a full-time Paper Converting Operator to join our Lomira, WI. location!
- The ability to operate a roll truck and forklift.
- The ability to load and unload semi-trailers and boxcars using a roll truck and stack paper in a warehouse.
- The ability to read a tape measure.
- The ability to document the slitter start and stop time and roll consumption.
- The ability to repair crushed cores at the slitter/rewinder and stripping rolls down.
- The ability to make Mill Splices.
- The ability to do general maintenance.
- The ability to operate a computer (knowledge of paper inventory, roll collection, reject maintenance.)
- The ability to monitor current and upcoming jobs on the slitter.
- The ability to barcode internal and external receipts.
- The ability to enter manifests.
- The ability to generate bills of lading.
- The ability to stand for long periods.
- 8-hour shifts, overtime as required, and some night shifts if workload requires.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED within six months of employment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and operate all features of the slitter/rewinder, auto wrapper, core cutter, and hot glue system.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and write.
- Previous roll truck/ forklift experience.
- Computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
