GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Specialist in Print Management Production will execute the print procurement process for projects assigned by his/her manager (or other department leaders). In this role, the Print Specialist will be responsible for working with various client account resources (and/or clients) managing assigned projects from initiation through delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management. Manage the end-to-end execution of the projects (from initial assessment and cleansing through sourcing, timeline tracking, reconciliation, final billing approval tasks, and time tracking. It is the responsibility of this role to ensure that projects run smoothly, and issues are managed and escalated effectively. The Specialist, in QPM Production is responsible for building trust with his/her internal and external client by providing a high level of service, clear and timely communications, and a positive attitude.
- Problem Solving. In support of the primary function of QPM (providing solutions to our clients), this role will be challenged to think critically, evaluate requirements, leverage experience and supply chain partners, re-prioritize based on shifting needs and schedules (with input from manager), and deliver viable solutions to meet our client needs. The SPM is expected to be resourceful and leverage the support of the QPM team to deliver feasible solutions.
- Negotiation and Pricing Strategy Adherence. The Specialist, QPM Production must understand the QPM pricing strategy and follow the pricing approval protocols. Working within QPM processes and procedures, this role is expected to negotiate with suppliers to optimize client value and company profits.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
- Typically requires minimum 5 years of experience.
- May require vocational or technical education or certifications in addition to prior work experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of production processes for his/her category
- Strong knowledge of print/paper/logistics industry practices
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with print project management software
