GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Project Manager will support the Sourcing Solutions business operation as an SME in print. The resource will be responsible for projects, programs, or accounts assigned by his supervisor (and other leaders as required) including both operational activities and overflow support for projects across Managed Services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production SME. The Project Manager will be assigned key account work, large programs or complex projects as the “lead buyer” and expected to work closely with the respective account teams and/or clients to execute work.
- Support Overflow Work and Special Assignments. As a print SME, the Project Manager will be assigned sourcing projects, research and tasks that provide overflow support and expert guidance as growth and retention opportunities arise.
- Pricing Strategy. Assist Sourcing Solutions leadership with account reviews and pricing strategy assessments inclusive of regular supplier pricing validations and RFP exercises for larger client programs. This includes performing market assessments and spend analyses for products and services as assigned, and assisting with reporting and KPI measurements.
- New Account On-Boarding. Provide support/assistance to Sourcing Solutions team and account team stakeholders for the implementation and management of onboarding activities related to new business engagements.
Other responsibilities that include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Support supply-chain optimization initiatives
- Support the analysis of sourcing data for reporting, budgetary pricing initiatives, and volume negotiations

- Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of an assignment but typically requires additional instruction or guidance on special assignments.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in print marketing and sourcing roles with demonstrated subject matter expertise.
- Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.
- Typically has broad knowledge of project management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of production processes for his/her category
- Strong knowledge of print/paper/logistics industry practices
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with print project management software
